HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
We consider ourselves photojournalists and storytellers, using a camera as a tool to tell the story of your day. Anticipation is our most used skill while we unobtrusively wait for the candid moments of your wedding to unfurl, with very minimal direction. This approach is how we capture those magical moments that define you and your guests, and reveal the true essence of your wedding day. When it’s time for our signature couples portraits, we will gladly offer just enough direction to create natural, flattering images that don’t feel contrived or forced. We are constantly looking for a unique and fresh perspective, going to extraordinary lengths to pursue our signature images. The end results are timeless — creative, dramatic and relaxed.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS?
Absolutely, we love Indian destination weddings! Although we’re based in Miami, we have traveled to most of our weddings in the US — especially NY, NJ, DC and Philadelphia including many international destination weddings in exotic places like Mexico, Colombia, Italy, Germany, Portugal, England, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Amelia Island and India. We are the the experts for destination Indian weddings.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS DO I NEED FOR MY WEDDING?
Shooting as a team has many advantages. We believe that having two photographers is ideal and depending on the type and size of your wedding we may bring a third shooter or an assistant photographer. The second photographer’s role is to compliment the lead photographers work and to capture images of situations where several things are happening at the same time and/or at separate locations — a bride and groom getting ready simultaneously, different angles for a ceremony and reception, speeches and reactions. My assistant photographer, will also coordinate logistics, first looks and family groupings.
WHEN WILL I RECIVE MY IMAGES?
The best things in life come to those who wait. Our creative commitment to you extends well beyond your wedding day. It generally takes us about 4 to 6 weeks to hand-edit and artistically master your wedding images and 1-2 weeks for engagement photos. We than upload them to your personal online gallery and email you an invite.
HOW MANY WEDDING IMAGES DO YOU DELIVER?
We personally view and cull all the images taken for the entire wedding. We choose only the best photographs that tell the story of the day without leaving anything important out. We remove images with unflattering expressions, closed eyes, and test shots when we setting up our equipment. For a multi-day Indian wedding celebration, our couples usually receive anywhere between 1500-2500 perfectly edited images on their online gallery.
CAN WE HAVE THE RAW AND UNEDITED FILES?
Why would you want that? Without the editing knowledge and special software, those raw files are useless to you. We carefully cull and deliver perfectly polished photographs for your wedding. Rest assured that we do not leave out important moments, subject matter, or group photos. The way we edit our final images should be one of the reasons why you would want to hire us in the first place.
DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?
We are passionate about one thing — still photography. We currently don’t offer any video services, however we do partner with some of the best cinematographers in the industry and we are more than happy to refer you to nice people we love working with for your video needs. DO YOU WORK FROM A SHOOTING LIST?
Working from a “shooting list” is very counterproductive for a photographer working a live event that can not be stopped or controlled. About a month before the wedding, we will send you a “wedding day worksheet” to complete. This form will give us all of the important details about your wedding, including which family members are important to photograph during the formal portraits. If there are unexpected moments (like fireworks or surprise performances) we will surely want to know so we can be ready to capture the moment. However, other than the family formals list, we prefer to capture real moments as they happen instead of creating them by following a list. Keep in mind that we will most likely shoot all those images anyway as they happen organically.
DO YOU RETOUCH ALL THE IMAGES IN MY ONLINE GALLERY?
We personally hand-edit all the images you receive in your online gallery. By “hand-edit” what we mean is that we color-correct, crop and deliver a finished photograph in our signature style, similar to what you see in our galleries and blog. Additional retouching like removing blemishes, skin softening and removing objects in images requires additional time and skill. We do offer this as an optional service and for all our wedding albums.
DO I GET TO KEEP MY DIGITAL FILES?
Yes! All your high-resolution digital files are provided to you without watermarks via your online gallery. You can download the entire gallery through a download link. You are also able to download individual images to share via social media or email. Galleries are online for a year from the date of delivery. We suggest you download your files and back them up to a flash drive.
HOW DO I SECURE YOUR SERVICES FOR MY INDIAN WEDDING?
Contact the studio at (954) 701-6346 or send a request via our contact page. Once we receive that request we will check availability and contact you regarding a meeting in person or schedule a phone/skype call. We are often flexible and try to accommodate our client’s schedules. We can only hold wedding dates after the receipt of a signed contract and a 40% retainer, the balance will be due at 90 and 30 days before the wedding date.
